There are "Somerton" villages in the UK, a Somerton, Arizona and a Somerton Beach near Adelaide, Australia and of course the "Somerton" in Eyes Wide Shut.
But this "Somerton Man" story is curious. Strangely the plaster cast of the face of the "Somerton Man," bears an odd resemblance to the mysterious "Stalker" who stalks Bill Harford. There's no telling where Kubrick's all-seeing eye, might have configured his Urban Epic.
