I hope the special features are the usually the superior Criterion specials.
Appears to be Sony's existing 4K transfer and 5.1 mix, with new/alternate extras:

Release date of June 28, 2016.

Long list of quality extras, but you'll want it for the TOP SECRET envelope containing a 'Playboy' magazine, featuring Miss Foreign Affairs, and a tiny *Holy Bible & Russian Phrases*.

Buying it right now!

Dr. Strangelove is the greatest comedy ever made.

Laurel and Hardy should have been it it.

DS is funny, because if you advance all the technology to what we have presently, the same old paradox applies.

I see a reviewer on Amazon saying,"...it's the exact same encode as the Columbia release." Comments on that review are surprised at Criterion for using the exact same encoding.

Btw I noticed on "Audible," (books on tape) yesterday they have the Stanley and Me in Italian, but no Englsh reading yet. I hope they do it, that way I can buy a third version. Hardback for the collection, Kindle for reading in the dark on tablet and i'd love to hear it read to me.

Likely a situation where the Sony transfer was up to Lee Kline's standards, and just went with a license to re-package it as Criterion release.
