"Stanley Kubrick's Napoleon finally arrives ... at the theater
A reading of the script will be given on stage in New York.

The script of Stanley Kubrick's Napoleon, known as "the greatest film never made", will be presented on stage in New York on August 20 and 23, at the Angel Orensanz Foundation Foundation. The actors on stage will bring to life for the first time the scenario that Kubrick had never been able to film. The show will take the form of a reading without staging.

French opera singer and actor David Serero, who notably sang the title roles of Mozart's Don Giovanni and Rigoletto, will play the role of the famous emperor. He adapted the script for the stage. The cast also includes Ron Barba (the narrator), Melissa Mars (Josephine), Bart Philly (Tsar Alexander), David Mohr (Barras and Talleyrand), Mickey Abbate (Joseph Bonaparte), Joe Naimoli. (Hippolyte Charles and Rostopchine), Kyle Primack (Junot and Kutuzov) and Jojo Cottle (Marie-Louise)."

before going on stage:

Likely rights issues in publishing video of the script-as-performed, but the director posted the Napoleonic era songs he sang throughout...
